Huntress in the woods

Part of a series of illustrations inspired by fantasy novels and role playing games which required a great deal of transforming imaginary worlds and characters into illustrations to share with the community. In this example I tried to tell the story of a huntress in the woods using as little visual elements as possible.

Part of a project inspired by pop culture and fairy tales. I tried to capture the emotionally raw and human nature of the villain asking the viewer to see the tale from the perspective of the perhaps misunderstood Evil Queen

Part of a personal project inspired by pop culture and fairy tales, I took the heroine out of the woods and placed her in a contemporary city to see how the mechanisms of the original tale apply to modern life

A study on one point perspective of a post apocalyptic scene painted right after I moved to the UK, inspired by the the brick buildings of the city of Liverpool. It was a chaotic period of my life trying to adapt into a new country, expressing my feelings with these illustrations was a way to relief the stress
